My fifth grade year has been very marvelous, but one thing has given me a beautiful amount of learning. A unit called Seedfolks ,in this unit we read a book called Seedfolks. Each day we learned about a new character and a different ways art can express symbolism. For example, on the first day we learned about a girl named Kim and how different lines can mean different things. Each piece of art is unique and has symbolism.
In the book we also read about hardships some of the characters had and how we can express that through art. By using different colors we can erupt different feelings. Such as blue can make you sad or red can make you feel anger. This unit has taught my class about symbolism. This learning is very useful because most people can not see symbolism in art but we can see that and now we can look at things very different.
