The science expo (previously known as the science fair) is an optional event for
our school. You are allowed to do many different projects such as experiments, reverse engineering, and invention.
HOW THE EXPO WORKS
In the expo you must apply with information on the project you plan to do,
then they will give you a few weeks to work that idea into a possible invention, or
experiment. Once you’ve planned out what you are doing and how you are going to do it.
They will supply you with a board to put information on to present at the expo. Afterwards you simply do the project and record how you did it and the results. Then put it down in correct format on your board. Then BAM ready for the expo.
AT THE SCIENCE EXPO
On the day of the expo, you go to the expo early to set up your project. Once you're there you set up your board and information and get ready to present. When it starts people will enter the room and view the projects. Participants should be ready to explain all about their project to observers! At the end of the expo you will get a participation prize and you will exit the building.
CONCLUSION
I hope this has been informative to you and that you are inspired to enter a local science fair [or expo] or start a project at home.~Patrick
