INTRODUCTION

We are just getting started on this thing called JA BIZTOWN it stands of Junior Achievement Biztown. Biztown is a place where you can work like parents, get paid, and waste your money where ever you want. In Biztown your parents are allowed to come but they had to sign up for it at back to school night!

STARTING

What we are learning right now is what we are supposed to do in Biztown. We are supposed to write checks, do math, Save your money.Basically act like a responsible parent even though we are just kids.

FUN

To me Biztown sounds like fun! It sounds like fun because you get to act like a adult and you even get to be a CEO of a business. Cool, Right?! I get to manage my own money.  I’ve seen my Mom, Dad, Brother, and Sister do it,  but I’ve never handled money. Maybe to some people Biztown is boring and lame, but to me it’s not that boring or lame, it sounds awesome.  

BIZTOWN JOBS

Biztown jobs include  Animal Shelter, Fred Meyer, Keybank, Ups, Capital One
For me personally, I would like to work at the bank or animal shelter! I think that you should ask your kids what they want to be when they go to Biztown. Maybe even ask you kids friends.
